Most couples hire four vendors for this. We staff all of it from one roster, which is why the photographer never blocks the camera and the stream never misses the vows. Multi-day celebrations — a traditional ceremony, a nikkah, a mehndi, a white wedding — run on the same sheet.

Weddings we filmed this year.
Nineteen years, one obsession
We play with light.
Every venue is a lighting problem before it is a camera problem — a dim hall, a harsh four o'clock sun, a reception lit entirely by uplights. Solving that first is the whole difference between footage and a film.
04Why couples pick us
Nineteen years of reading a room.
Four services under one roof only matters if the people running them have done it before. Ours have — through nineteen years of Michigan weddings, in every venue and every kind of light the state offers.
- Lighting first
- Nineteen years of professional imaging and lighting. Dim halls and harsh afternoon sun are solved before the first frame.
- Multicultural
- Nigerian and African traditional ceremonies, nikkahs, mehndis and multi-day celebrations are routine work here, not a special request.
- One invoice
- Film, photo, stream and booth on a single contract — no scheduling between four separate companies.
- Local crew
- Based in Ann Arbor, working Southeast Michigan. Travel applies beyond 35 miles.

06Questions & answers
Asked before every booking.
What areas of Michigan do you serve?
Sunflow Media is based in Ann Arbor and covers Washtenaw, Wayne, Oakland, Livingston and Macomb counties — including Ypsilanti, Detroit, Dearborn, Canton, Novi, Northville, Plymouth, Livonia, Southfield, Royal Oak, Troy and Sterling Heights. Travel fees apply beyond 35 miles of Ann Arbor, and we take dates statewide.
Can we book photography and videography together?
Yes — most couples do. Photo and video wedding packages are built around your day rather than a fixed menu, so you pay for the hours and the deliverables you actually want. Tell us the date, venue and rough guest count and we'll price it.
Do you live-stream weddings for family abroad?
We do. Sunflowlive packages start at $795 and include a private viewing page with unlimited guests, a tested venue network, and an HD recording you keep. Guests watch from a link — no app, no account.
Do you cover traditional and multi-day weddings?
Yes. Nigerian and African traditional ceremonies, nikkahs, mehndis and separate white weddings can each be covered as its own event, filmed, photographed and streamed on the same contract.
How soon do we get our film and photos?
Live-stream recordings arrive same day or within 48 hours. Photo galleries and wedding films follow on the timeline written into your contract, and we send a teaser well before the full delivery.
How far ahead should we book?
Peak Michigan dates — May through October, plus holiday weekends — are usually claimed six to twelve months out. Send your date and we'll confirm availability, normally within the hour.
